We will also have a display of Malaysian batik in the festival club. This is a free exhibition open to the general public. The festival club with its own café is also a great place for people to have a drink and a bite to eat and to soak up the atmosphere of the festival before and after a film. Students attending the films during the week will be able to view the batik exhibition after film screenings, and speak with Malaysian people about their culture (including the Peranakan culture).
